YOUTH MINISTRY
Children, Youth and Young Adults
Director: Ashley Smith

The CYYA Ministry at WholeLife Community Church was designed to reach the children, youth and young adults as they grow in their walk with Christ. This ministry allows them to grow in God, themselves, their community and the world at large. It teaches them self esteem, leadership skills, and how to grow their personal faith. Through these teachings it allows, even the smallest of children, lives to be improved through personal growth in Jesus Christ.

The three core units to the CYYA Ministry is Discipleship, Outreach, and Mentorship. We teach our youth to be role models and for each one to reach one. CYYA meets on every fourth Friday of the month, for mentorship, fellowship and fun! During this time all youth and young adults have the opportunity to invite their friends to a special event, game night, or service project. The CYYA Ministry is made up of five intimate groups:

Neo-Life is a group specifically for young adults ages 18-24 years of age
Keys of Life 1 is a group for our children ages 8-12
Keys of Life 2 is for our smallest of children ages 4-7

Our Children’s groups meet once a month and have movie night and age appropriate activities that allow them to learn to express themselves as they learn and grow in Christ.

S.O.U.L

SEEKING OUT THE UNSAVED + LOST
Director: Elder Carlita Singletary

The WLCC Outreach Ministry S.O.U.L is a segment of the WholeLife Community Church that is also dedicated to helping those in need, by sharing God’s Word with others through the distribution of Christian outreach materials and providing multi-faceted community support. Our mission is to strengthen individuals, families and communities of all backgrounds by promoting Christian based morals, values and character building principles of the Bible. The WLCC Outreach Ministry supports and strives to meet the physical needs of many who are suffering from poverty, lack of education, health issues and those who are from broken homes and families. We serve our community and abroad through various avenues i.e. volunteering at food pantries, providing free prom dresses to young girls, facilitate empowerment workshops, hosts educational seminars, conduct prayer walks, community BBQ’s, etc.

We serve the community because there is a need for the church to come outside the four walls and minister to people in meaningful and practical ways. Today, our society is facing growing troubles worldwide. These issues affect people morally, weakens family value and their units which increases economic uncertainty, social pressures, crime rates and for many depression.

Those who serve with the Outreach Ministry understand through our own victories of personal experiences that the Lord is still in the business of saving lives. We share hope and aim to help develop faith in Jesus Christ. Collective willingness is a must in order to shoulder the sometimes weight of our other ministries here at WLCC. Being cheerfully ready is a key element to serving the community, no matter who they are or where they come from. Our unity is the cornerstone that makes the vision of WholeLife a success and will determine our ability to spread the Gospel to the unsaved and lost throughout the world. As a body of believers we understand the importance of meeting the people where they are!
