THERE IS A PLACE FOR YOU AT WHOLELIFE CHURCH

Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I THESSALONIANS 5:23

THE VISION.

“We believe in reconciliation and restoration to wholeness through faith in Jesus Christ.”
We desire to advance the Kingdom of God in all that we do; this is done through Counseling, Teaching, and Exhorting. The vision is to build a ministry that revolves around the body, soul and spirit as a whole (holokleeros, complete in all its parts).

A ministry rooted in prayer, fasting, and rightly dividing the word with express relativity to the community, culture and their needs. All established ministries and by-products within the vision must support and strengthen the vision in one or more of the areas of the body, soul or spirit., a continuation process of sanctification and spiritual exercises and development designed to build up faith in the Lord Jesus Christ- I Thessalonians 5:23.

Habakkuk 2:2 reads: “Record the vision and inscribe it on tablets, that the one who reads it may run and tell it.”

WholeLife Community Church – (A local church with a world view) is: Compassionate for a lost world – The focus is on people not programs. The early church was to take the Gospel to Jerusalem, Judea and to the uttermost parts of the earth. For us that means:

Local- our Jerusalem (Passaic, Bergen and Essex counties).
National- Our Judea and Samaria (NJ/NY and USA).
Global- Uttermost parts of the earth (Declare among the nations – The Lord Reigns!).
Powerful in our prayers- A healthy church depends on the power of prayer.
Generous in our giving- It all starts with tithing. Giving the first 10% to God.
Passionate in our worship- We are called first and foremost to be lovers of God.

HOW DO WE LOVE GOD?

We express our love through a lifestyle of worship. God is seeking worshipers. We glorify God when we worship Him (This includes being on time and participating in the regular and special services of the church).

Committed in our service- we are bond servants, people who serve not because they have to but because they want to.
Bold in our faith- faith overcomes the world!

What’s needed today is an army of soldiers, dedicated to Jesus Christ, who believe not only that He is God, but that He can fulfill every promise He has ever made and that there isn’t anything too hard for Him. “The real irony is that we have assumed that growing church membership means that the ranks of the Christian army are growing whereas the number of combat troops is in fact shrinking.

Churches have become hospitals where sin-sick souls are given aspirin and entertainment to distract them from the diseases of their souls. God forgive us when we are more concerned with numbers than with holiness. Equipping Disciples “And He (Jesus) gave some as apostles and some as prophets, and some as evangelists and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints, for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ.”
